It is Hard to Say Goodbye

It was with very mixed emotions Sunday, March 19 that we announced that we will be moving in June. I have been appointed to serve at Parkway Hills UMC in Madison. It will be very hard to say goodbye to so many at Main Street who have truly become family, and to say goodbye to the Bay community that we have come to love. Main Street will always be the place my youngest was baptized and nothing can take the place of this grace-filled memory. Main Street welcomed not only me, but my husband and 3 children and has surrounded us with love and support over the past 5 years. God has moved in so many amazing ways at Main Street and I am excited about what God has in store for the coming years as Main Street welcomes her new pastor, Rev. Chris Klingenfus.

I am also excited to see what God has in store for me and for my family as we join a new congregation of disciples at Parkway Hills. I will continue to hold Main Street in prayer, Rev. Chris Klingenfus and his family, Rev. Bruce Case and his family, and Parkway Hills UMC as we all go through a time of transition and new beginnings. I invite you to join me in this great work of holding one another in love in this way.
