…..experiencing God as we serve
Main Street United Methodist Church is committed to aiding others in experiencing God by sharing the love of God outside the walls of the church. We do this by partnering with various ministries throughout our community. A portion of Main Street’s budget is committed every year to aid with work already being done to meet needs. Below are some of those ministries as well as specific ways you may reach out. If there are other areas you are being led to serve, please feel free to visit with Pastor Dawn about how Main Street United Methodist Church may continue to experience God as we serve.
Hancock County Food Pantry: Special offering every third Sunday during our 10 am worship time as well as quarterly donations from our budget. For more information on the Hancock County Food Pantry, click here.
Hope Haven: We aid in various ways throughout the year with Hope Haven Children’s Services. For more info about Hope Haven, click here.
Other areas of Outreach through Main Street United Methodist Church: Kairos Outside, CASA, Soldier’s Angels, and visiting shut-ins and nursing homes. Contact the church office for more information about any of these outreach ministries or to see how you can be involved.
