Our Pastor & Youth Leader

Rev. Chris Klingenfus graduated from Asbury Theological semenary. He has served as a campus minister at Tulane University and University of New Orleans, and started a new fellowship at Southern Miss.  He has served as associate pastor at Main Street UMC in Hattiesburg, and has come to Main Street from Franklin UMC in Laurel.

Our Music Minister

Webb Parker is a Mississippi native and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Southern Mississippi.  Webb has served churches in Mississippi, Alabama, and Oregon and holds a BM in Church Music from Samford University, and MA in Music Education from the University of Alabama, and a Ph.D. in Music Education and Choral Conducting from the University of Oregon.  When not making music, Webb enjoys college football (ROLL TIDE!) and spending time with his 160 lbs great dane named Zeus.

Have an interest in more fully participating in  worship in some way through music or the arts?  Contact Webb for a discussion of how best your gifts may aid others in experiencing God, or simply join the choir on Sunday morning at 8:30.
